  (Dag 2) Duft av søte bringebær, noe mørke bær, tre, litt krydder, hengt kjøtt. Røde og blå bær, hint av appelsinskall, mørke plommer, sødmefull, bra konsentrasjon og lengde, moderat syre, fine tanniner.

  Perfumed red cherry aroma with notes of dried flowers, vanilla, and baking spices. Very complex. Rich red and black fruit flavors with a plum finish. Notes of cola and orange zest too. Smooth with fine tannins and good balance. Finish is short but improves with some air. Smells better than it tastes.

  Popped and poured this one , pairing with grilled tilapia and grilled peppers/eggplant . Ripeness is the dominant characteristic here . Not in a negative way. Well-made and balanced . Medium acidity , medium mouthfeel and medium tannins . Good but not great finish . Although I may have opened it a bit early, I don’t think you need to wait until 2026.

  cola and leather with a touch of cherry. A little dark note on the finish. Good wine with our BBQ chicken.

  What a fantastic wine from WS! Cherry, cola, rasberry flavors all perfectly commingled to make a truly delicious wine! Have had other vintages of this wine and they have all been fantastic and it looks like this one will meet the standard of those before it! Has a great smooth/velvety feel to it with a nice long finish. Was very enjoyable as a PnP and has plebty of life left in it. Excited to see how it continues to develop and will probably wait until Q2 or Q3 of 2024 before trying another from this vintage.
