  • Only 12 months in oak but right now these toasted and spicy notes are overwhelmingly above those of cherries and strawberries. In the mouth it is also quite traditional, tasty and tannic. Perhaps that density is too high and the acidity does not manage to refresh the wine. It needs food. Tempranillo vineyards from both Rioja Alta and Alava. To speak here of terroir is a chimera.     Sólo 12 meses en roble pero ahora mismo las notas tostadas y especiadas son abrumadoramente mayoritarias sobre las de cerezas y fresas. En boca es también bastante tradicional, sabrosa y tánica. Quizás esa densidad es demasiado alta y la acidez no consigue refrescar al vino. Necesita comida. Viñedos de tempranillo procedentes tanto de la Rioja Alta como de la alavesa. Hablar aqui de terruño es una quimera. Por cierto, bonita y evocadora etiqueta. Torres trata de eludir el boicot general a productos catalanes.
