  • Certainly enjoyable and quite well-balanced considering the very high ABV. Not a very complex or nuanced wine, but really tasty. Warm black and red plum fruit galore, fat raspberry liqueur, surprisingly "elegant" and streamlined despite the heat poking out a bit. Decent acid holding it together. Some suggestions of earthy something-or-other, maybe a little oak spice, but 90% about the fun fruit. For $25 it's not my usual style but it's good enough that I'm curious to try their CdP for sure. TBH I've had a cpl of decent bottles of Gigondas that taste super similar to this.
