Opened in the bottle a few hours. Moderate acid and tannin making it incredibly smooth. Light coloration but medium plus body. Ripe cherry and plum balanced by earthy funk (that emerged with time). Drink now or hold 5-10 years.

A fresh herbal balsam and earth driven nose. Pretty understated cool nebbiolo fruit and tar on the nose and palate. A bit thin on the midpalate. Opens some with air, and is very good, but based on hopes, even in this vintage, still a little lacking.

Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): Lovely. Again the fruit and a hit of the tar and just this very classic style of barolo that is really wonderful. Drinks great.
