(Copain Les Copains James Berry Vineyard) (Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah; 15% alcohol) – nice berry, black fruit and sweet smoke nose; tasty Mourvedre black fruit dominating right now, with depth, smoke and a sense of pepper underneath; medium finish (will be interesting to see how it develops)

PnP, continued to improve over 2 nights. Amazingly consistent with note from 6 years ago. Still with bramble, pepper and dark fruits. Although etoh now pokes through, there is more depth and palate penetration without heaviness. Acidity, while light, is sufficient.
