PnP, continued to improve over 2 nights. Amazingly consistent with note from 6 years ago. Still with bramble, pepper and dark fruits. Although etoh now pokes through, there is more depth and palate penetration without heaviness. Acidity, while light, is sufficient.

(Copain Les Copains James Berry Vineyard) Medium cherry red color with pale to clear meniscus; cherry pie, sour cream nose; tart berry palate with green notes and subtle pepper; medium-plus finish
(Copain Les Copains James Berry Vineyard) (Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah; 15% alcohol) – nice berry, black fruit and sweet smoke nose; tasty Mourvedre black fruit dominating right now, with depth, smoke and a sense of pepper underneath; medium finish (will be interesting to see how it develops)
