Popped and poured. Leggy dark cranberry; opaque. More purple than red fruit--seems to me like a major difference between Cali and French pinots. Loads of fleshy, purple fruit in the mouth, literally stuffed with sweet, fresh black cherry fruit. After 2 French Burgs, seems overly sweet and over-the-top. Almost cloying. But, for the style, it is very good. 5-12-16-8: 91/100. High alcohol, but hides it pretty well.

Quite peppery, muted fruit.
