Pop and pour. Will follow over a few days. On the nose: lees, dense peach, soft guava, a touch of flowers. On the palate: fantastic acid up front, grapefruit and sour apple, soft peach, loads of wet stone and dense lemon kicks in, then a hi-toned, tangy finish. Maybe a touch short right now.

Quite complex Riesling. Bouquet of lemon, burned caramel, a little petrol, spring flowers and some herbs. Needed some time to open up (better on day 2). Medium bodied with a good inner tension and quite a long finish. Will have quite a future ahead.

seems quite ripe in the nose, but I grade this as typical PJK style with long ageing on the lees and no fear of oxygen, round style with some acidity, ripe fruit (apples, yellow fruit), nuts, good concentration and length, better with air

A really fine GG from P-J Kühn. Nose with flowers and citrus, touch of slate and petrol. Apples shows with time in the glass. Palate is young and yet to be unleashed in full. Apples, stone fruits, fresh grapefruit, green grapes. very good concentration with nice balance between the fine young fruit and the acidity. Very young but already full of pleasure. Will keep my remaining bottle for as long as I can manage (hopefully at least 5 years) as I believe that this has much more in store. 92 - 94
