This Clos Vougeot is a big meh. Too much acidity, not enough fruit. Medium length, which is nice, some interesting complexity, just not enough of anything. Still fresh! Needs a 30 minute decant. Best served with food.

Bricked throughout. Some strawberry and candied fruit in the taste. Some barnyard too, but not prominent, just enough to add interest. On the light side, a bit rustic and unrefined.

Dark garnet with some bricking at the edge. This wasn't bad. A suggestion of Brett gave some added complexity. Long on the palate, smooth, and a bit bright at first. A tasty and interesting Burgundy.

A Great weekend in Athens; 2/12/2011-2/13/2011 (Athens, Greece): Did not pick it up as a clear Pinot when tried blind. Needs a bit of time, and decanting helps, to open up. Once it does it has a very expressive nose however it's a bit short on the finish. Still very enjoyable but no match for the rest of the wines
