Dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty notes, cocoa, some mint & herbs, spices & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth texture, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, mocha, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but may develop further with additional aging.

Dark crimson color. Red plum, dusty, bittersweet chocolate and blueberry on the nose and palate. Slightly tannic core but very approachable. Short, spicy finish. Decent QPR. $24 Costco.

Solid wine overall. Plum, cherry, and blueberries. Spice, chocolate and earth. Fruit forward wine without the sweetness levels of other corporate wines.

Dark plum, bitter chocolate, dried florals, tons of spice, black pepper and cedar notes. The palate is full bodied with notes of spicy dark fruit, fig and sweet spices, the mid-palate is spicy leading to a slightly hot finish. I think I could call Whitehall Lane blind; spice, spice and spice. I remember tasting their Cab a few years back, and their Merlot seems to follow a similar style. This wine might not be for everyone, but I can understand those who enjoy it. 90+
