Wet stone, vanilla, florals on the nose. In the mouth the wine is tight... not expressing the oppulence I've come to identify with Mersault. Again, more minerality than almost anything else, a touch of citrus pith and lemon cello, and a smokey finish. I enjoyed this wine more on opening, but as I drink it now, three hours late, I find it has not much left to offer.

This wine was beautiful and makes me very sad that this the last bottle! Lemony, minerally and lovely depth with pretty density. Finally this mature (had the be the last one!), this is classic Meursault in all it's glory and clearly 1er Cru quality.

Very impressive for a village wine. Shows the power of the vintage. Drink now

Very true example - more acidity than expected. Popular at reception at Fogg's

Very soft, typical of the vintage. Serene Soleil was better with food.
