I cant really say that I feel a big difference in the 2013 vintage compared to pure pinot noir 2012 and chardonnay 2014 but the result is a very nice blend which emphasizes the best of both grape varieties.
While the pure PN is extremely fruity (apple, citrus) and intense whereas the chardonnay is a very good drink lacking complexity and depth, the fusion of both results in a very nice drinkable fun champagne which still shows some nice fruit and decent depth.
Definitely the better alternative to the chardonnay as aperitif.
I still think a PN and PM would be the best solution for Yves Couvreur but anyway.
