A fuller bodied (in terms of spice and brambles) chianti that is very old school and dare I say rustic, in the best way possible. Almost a dolcetto vibe here. Super aromatic, plenty of earth and acid. All this in a 13.5% biodynamic package. Ready to go but might improve with a couple more years, def has the stuff.
In no universe does this resemble CA cab lol.

Not really my cup of tea. On the first day, I would have thought it was a California cab, overblown and over the top fruit. The next day it was more improved, more Chianti like. This wine will appeal to many, but is not for me.
This was used as an entry to a horizontal of 2015 Chianti Classico. As we started the tasting it seemed quite lightwaight (even compared to previous bottles I had) but as we went on it constantly changed, getting more and more complex over the three hours we had it open. For this reason I stiart to think that this wine will have definitely a longer life than expected even if it's super good now!

Loved this. Sometimes young Chianti is hard work but this is so elegant and refined it’s very easy to enjoy. 4+

Consumed with popcorn and chocolate while watching a movie. Continues to be a wonderful house red.
Medium bodied, slightly tannic, dry and acidic. Lots of dark fruit and earth on the nose. Plum, leather and earth taste.
