Bright, with deeply-embedded acidity; seems like a complete wine, but it comes across as reserved at the moment. I'm sure this would have benefited from more air. Not quite as bombastic as most other Boudignons I've had. Not as good as my 10/21/22 bottle --- perhaps closing-up? Hold for now.

  • Litt hemmelig og introvert cheninfrukt, rikelig våt stein. Åpner noe opp etter 2-3 dagers lufting men fortsatt mistenkelig introvert. Mikro tca? Fase? Fremstår stilmessig som stram diskret chablis-chenin. Skulle gjerne dobbeltsjekket med andre flasker

  • Pale lemon yellow in the glass. Subtle nose of green apple and lime zest. Mild citrus on the palate but with time in the glass minerality and a bit of salinity presents. Medium body with high acidity. This is a terrific food wine and paired really well with warm German potato salad and sweet & sour red cabbage. I think this still has some devopment ahead of it and will wait 2-5 years before opening my next bottle.

  • I actually preferred the 18 to this. My notes were very brief. This was opened at a dinner for 9 with some outstanding Korean food, but I wasn’t able to give quite the attention that it merits. The 2019 was more subtle, with less verve (in my memory), perhaps surprisingly. I’ll try and replace with an 18 or a 20

  • Sharp and clean.
Pale lemon. Pronounced. Yellow flowers, camomile. Sour lemon, briuised apple and honey. Wet stones. Hints of cedar. Complex. High acidity. Med body. 13% abv. Still a bit tight. Outstanding.
