Spicy nose gives way to olive and plum skin on the palate. Dry and dusty finish. Just enough sweetness and a proper structure too. This is excellent vfm.
Day two similar only more expressive aromatically.

Super Rhone Saturday 2017 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Meaty, slight Brett, concentrated red over black fruit, a little garrigue, quite a rustic nose (which I have no issue with). Medium plus intensity acidity, fruit sweet, drying grainy tannins, rather nice.
