4300 cases. 92% cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc, 2% merlot, 1% dolcetto. Second label Cab for Woodward Canyon featuring young vine and declassified fruit. Winemaker Rick Small. Very dark purple in glass, medium opacity. Generous and delicious nose of diried plum, black cherry, vanilla, and herb. Medium bodied and very juicy and fruit forward on the attack.A little hot on the mid-palate but this fades with decant time. Nice long juicy finish of vanilla and kiss of oak with nicely integrated tannins. Drinking very well now, but should be better in 3-5 years. Decent qpr (B-).

The nose had lots of black currant and raspberry, slight hints of green vegetables and spice, and some vanilla at the end. The palate had a nice mix of sweet red fruit and vegetables, and finished with a heavy does of oak and spice.

Good new world fruit, red and some black fruit with chocolate on the finish. Enjoyable.
