A blend of each vintage between 1996 and 2000, disgorged 2016, 50/50 PN and Chardonnay. Mid straw or perhaps even slightly darker. I think we caught this just before it became overly mature, as the nose had some of that tell-tale bruised apple, but even more delicious doughy notes. The palate retained some freshness and energy as well as delicious flavours of quince, sourdough and lemon curd, and the notably long finish meant that every sip could be savoured intently. An excellent advert for older Champagne!

2004 base. No detailed note, as it was consumed at a party. Very clean and focused style despite the oak maturation, not much sign of age, elegant and drinkable. Will leave my other bottle for a few years.

This is a delicious Champagne with a very fine mousse and awesome flavors of lemons and chalky limestone. Excellent intensity and high acidity but there is good balancing sweetness of fruit for a Brut nature. The finish is succulent and complex with just the right hint of oxidized and toasted notes and sharp mineral-driven precision. Youthful but hard to stop drinking this very satisfying Champagne.

Super yeasty nose. Golden color, lots of tiny bubbles. A real treat!
