My first 2020 California vintage consumed – and it happens to be in a 3L box sold for 12 bucks.
Nearly colorless. Sweet nose with floral elements, honeysuckle, and some lemon. Thicker body than I was expecting, a bit sweet to start but quickly becomes moderately dry for the finish. Lemon, lime, grapefruit, and honey palate. Short finish that is dry with some minerals backing it up.
Decent for a cheap boxed wine – and better than the cheap KS Italian Pinot Grigio. For sticking in the fridge to cook with and stealing an occasional glass, this fits the bill.
