  • daybright clear, still purple-ruby wine with bright fushia rim and medium concentration, tears med to form and fall, med- viscosity clean, heady distinctive pungent dried herb aroma (hillside scrub), like a fruit with a wood coating, some wood but hard to distinguish from fruit, intensity med+ palate: body is pull, dry, developing, pleasant mouthfueel of unknown exotic fruit, same strange dried herb/wood taste, acid is medium, tannin is med+, intensity is full, perfume of rough dried herbal quality, licorice. a bit chewy and it seems to have tartrates (crunch). Alcohol is medium. Seems like a rather warm (not hot, possibly mediterannean or even maritime climate). I like it but unusual. Serve with grilled lamb.
