light, pale gold in glass. Lemon nose with a hint of florals. Palate is mostly lemon, some underripe pear, touch of flowers and minerality. Touch of citrus pith at end. Good for the level.

At Embassy XO, Sunshine Beach. This a delicious wine at this level with plenty of green apple, white pear and lemon lime splice on the nose and palate with a zesty finish with plenty of mineral highlights. There’s a touch of white citrus flowers about as it sits in the glass that elevates this further suggesting another couple of years in the bottle would be beneficial.

C: very light almost water-colored S: floral, faint juicyfruit, grassy T: I think there is residual sugar. Acidic. "Sprite"-ey. Floral. R: It was fine (1). Low buy again (1).

PINOTBESTIA got it right. I have a sweet spot in my heart for this wines and the only reason I am not giving it a 93-94 is I know there is so much more in the higher level wines from this region/producer. Petrol, flowers, sweet perfumes. Perfect balance on the palate. Slightly short on the finish. Really soulful and excellent.

Love it and would struggle to find faults in it. Light and spritzy, easy to drink. Pronounced medium + acidity. It's all apples, lemons peel and a very powerful mineral drive. I hate writing that, but it has a strong non-fruit character that I always find super appealing like slate or wet pebbles in a summer morning.
Insane QPR.
