Nicoletta who tasted this blind ( post 1hr or so of decanting) described this spot on. The nose is of a cab sauv dominated wine, Bordeaux style for sure with good use of oak and a very pretty set of classic aromatics. Young indeed but round and polished and actually drinks very well for its youth. What sets it apart and confused her a lot in terms of origin ( else she would would have said Bordeaux left bank) was how dark the coulor was and how dense. Was like a Pingus or Unico level of darkness. Properly well made wine and indeed a very pretty one and would amaze people on quality and elegance. Really impressed and expected very little. This can rival many of the Bordeaux wines for sure. 92

Deep ruby in colour. Nose still closed. Hints of black current, black fruits, flora. Medium+ acidity and high tannin. Big and full bodied. Long finish. Decanted for 5 hours. Magic number to decanted 8 hours. Very cool and rainy season. Drank 2015, 2016 and 2017 side by side and felt that for now 2015 > 2017 > 2016. Given time, 2017 have more depth and complexity and it will probably taste better than 2015. Time will tell.

Lots of smokey oak (too much), green bell pepper, dark fruits.
