As CPSchoeff says it was fun and fresh. It was also the only drinkable European wine in a lineup of mostly American Carignane (something I had not realized at the time). I don’t think this is a showstopper wine by any stretch but considering its price, it’s home-run QPR

A full bodied wine made from rich Monastrell grapes, focused and complex, with well integrated tannins and acidity & a well balanced smooth finish. Thoroughly enjoyed drinking this wine from the Jumilla region of Spain.

Blackberry, incense, green olive, mocha. Not yet fully integrated. Hot with a bitter finish, but stil drinking well.

Full musky nose. Lovely, fruity and chalky, well balanced.

Many Dudes, Much Carignan, some Mourvedre, Side of Brett (George-fucking-town): Dark Purple. Prevalent Double Bubble gum on the nose obscured any other notes for me. The palate went toward Juicy Fruit, albeit with some black fruits mixed in. Fun and fresh, not my cuppa.
