tasted first bottle of this Nierstein vintage: now at the beginning of its drinking window color: very clear, very light yellow golden nose: elegant yellow stone fruits with notes of herbs on the palate very concentrated and well structured, quite long lasting
tasted same bottle over 3 days; during that time it further developed and became even more delicious; consider to decant when opening now

2020 Trockens with Howard Ripley (Zoom!): Red slate. All from GG vineyards, but not declared as such – mostly because he’s not from that commune and prefers to promote his own, and doesn’t own those vineyards.
Bigger and juicier, with strawberry rather than purely citrus fruits. Saline towards the finish. Very elegant and charming. Mmm.
