My second vintage of this wine. I bought this to waive the fees at their tasting room in Woodinville, so it was effectively free. At that price I can’t complain.
It’s not as rich and weighty as the typical Walla Walla Semillon, which I appreciate, but I don’t think I’ve had any white Bordeaux blends from Washington that really rival the “real” thing.
White flowers, pear, some honey, and vague oak flavors like vanilla. Acidity is low and it’s pretty rich/creamy on the palate so it’s most enjoyable cold for me.
