Still superb in early '15. Close to sublime. Has the savory characteristics of an older wine, but still with lots of filigreed fruit. You get the special character of Weir Vineyard - definitely Northern California, but less fruity than Sonoma, less acid-lean than Oregon. Surprisingly great for an old wine from a then untested vineyard (I think '99 was only its third ever).

Sweet, round, and fully resolved. All candied cherry pie fruit. Not a bad thing, per se. Just has to be what you appreciate. For me, would be a great wine with some secondary complexity.

Interesting nose of red apple skins, cherries, and some spices. Lots of acid, almost fizzy at the beginning but this blew off. Well balanced, but there was something missing in the mid-palate. these do age well though

I found this way too sweet. Cloying sweet. Still youthful, but a far cry from what I would consider Pinot.
