  • This took about 6+ hours to really open up. As it did, it showed off the class you expect from this producer. The nose relies on subtlety and nuance with sour red cherries, mint, cranberries, herbs, rose petals, raspberries, tobacco notes, licorice, herbal spices, and wild flowers. The Medium/full bodied feel is deft and silky with crisp, medium+ acidity and sneaky, medium+ tannins. I don’t come across a Paradiso Manfredi too often, but when I do, I know it will be a real treat! This is no different as it shows off a seamless quality that is shocking at this youthful stage along with all sorts of depth and poise across the nose and palate.

  • A Brunello of great character.
I opened a 2013 which was corcked, so I popped the 2015 knowing it was probably tight to begin.
First night I had a glass which took 1/2 an hour to opens a little.
The next day, wow! Blooming out with incredible depth and complexity. Very animal-like flavours but nice. These aromas all sits on top of a splendid dark fruit and tilled soil carpet.
    I Did not decanted it.
