  Nez léger, un peu herbacé mais pas désagréablement
  Bonne fraicheur en bouche, très léger perlant et une petite amertume plaisante. Peu de fruit, je veux bien sentir du poivre (peu aromatique) puisqu'on me l'indique mais ce n'est pas patent. D'accord aussi, et même davantage, pour le concombre, très net en fait - on pense à la délicieuse boisson concombre-gengibre des Portugais.
  À l'aératon, une belle minéralité prend corps.
  Bonne longueur, sur l'acidité et le minéral
  Style proche des blancs secs français - un sancerre ou un bon alsace...
  Vin de qualité, Il peut accompagner fruits de mer ou poissons.
  
  Ce vin est peut-être difficile à produire ; pour moi, son prix ne se justifie pas pleinement.

  Good quality Gruner, medium plus body with lots of black pepper and lemon rind. QPR is only “ok” but price aside definitely a nice wine.

  From 75cl, perfect cork, opened but not decanted 1 hour. Fine, young, feather-light Federspiel GV, with the bright acidity and melon/cucumber/underripe mango laced with white pepper you'd expect in a relatively light vintage like 2020, alas with a slightly vegetal character on the finish in place of the bracing bitterness I'd hoped for. As fatris73 noted here on 22.07.2022, there's an attractive salty edge, but: sorry, 93P is way out of line for this respectable, well-made wine. I intend waiting several years before trying Knoll's 2020 Kreules GV Smaragd, and hope it has a bit more of the guts and elegance I associate with this - wonderful - producer. 88P(?)

  Nase: fruchtig, Apfel, mineralisch, schönes, präsentes Bouquet
  Gaumen: sehr schöne Säure, frisch und knackig, ausgewogen, langer Abgang mit einer Prise Salz
  Fazit: herrlich sag ich da nur. Wunderbarer grüner Veltliner, der schön erfrischt und Spass macht. Meilenweit von den früheren "Sauren Zungen" entfernt. Da merkt man, dass die Österreicher seit den 1990er Jahren grosse Fortschritte gemacht haben und Top-Weine produzieren. Der hier hat natürlich seinen stolzen Preis, der aber berechtigt ist.
