Varietally typical Cab Franc that's lighter on its feet than you might expect (chalk it up to cool Carneros). Needs an hour of air, drink now or hold two more years.

Rusty color; great nose of mellow earth, tobacco and strawberries, nothing overpowering though; initial taste was a little flat but very balanced; long finish. Very happy after holding since purchase in 2007 from winery. Great 100% Cab Franc. Everything I've had from Sinskey has been outstanding!

my 1st try with a straight cab franc & i am a fan. popped & left uncorked for 3hrs. had a nice color and nose of red fruit, herbs & spice. easy mouthfeel with a cedar component. good balance of fruit & acidity. some lingering tannin. a nice bottle of wine.

Obviously new world and aged, it's a beautifully integrated wine with notes of celery, oil-cured olive and a luxurious mouthfeel. Wow, another WOTN.
