Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 89 points

  • My first tasting of this vintage from Hogue and was not disappointed. Their late harvest wines can be difficult to judge when young, so my score reflects a range (87-90). It has a beautiful perfume-like nose. Rich peach and nectarine fruit comes out right away on the palate. No noticible botrytis detected. This vintage has a similarity to their 2017 late harvest. A nice wine but need to taste in 6 months to more accurately evaluate it.
