  Deep garnet core. Deep and attractive nose of red plum, blueberry, damson, oregano, red liquorice, clove, vanilla and hot bricks. Medium to full-bodied, with a powerful tannin attack and mouthwatering, tangy acidity. Intense and complex fruit on the palate with a long, pleasing sweet and sour finish. Drink this now or over the next 2 years. Benanti and a handful of other producers on the slopes of Mount Etna, produce some of Italy's most exciting wines. Fascinating varieties and wines that scream terroir. Search these out.
