45 yr old vines in schist soils. The nose is lifted with a floral blossom, mineral, and ripe orchard fruits. A crisp, steely acid entry, the mid-palate is filled with ripe green apple, sweet poached pear, underscored by a mineral, phenolic grip/extract, and wet river pebbles. There is a touch of creamy lees but not enough to counter the phenolics. Certainly vibrant and juicy, there is a fleeting moment of complexity as it ebbs and flows in the mouth. Improved in glass, there is a lovely vibrancy to the wine.l Wafts of white peach draw the wine to a close with a hint of lightly spiced apple.

PnP. Once again, an excellent drink. Has that fine bead of acidity to balance the luscious fruit. Mostly melon. Fast becoming one of my very favorite Muscadets. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

Super Muscadet. More gold than yellow. Lovely melon aromas burst from the glass. Really pretty flavor profile, with lively acidity making this a delight. Dances across the tongue. Superlative wine, really speaks to what can be accomplished with this grape in the right hands. Almost begs to be paired with oysters or lemony fish dishes. Glad I grabbed 3 bottles of this. 4-12-17-8: 91/100.

Not really a fan. More fat than I like in my Muscadet. I prefer crisp, fresh, bracing Muscadet. To be fair, it's well made and was better on the second day, but still lacking the zip I want.
