Loire Valley Primer (Wine Exchange - Orange, CA): This wine is so delicate and so understated on the nose that you just get lost trying to find specific aromas. I did get impressions of white flowers, strawberries, and citrus. The palate opens up with attractive mouth feel and like the nose has tremendous elegance and restraint. The flavors are quite mineral infused and include oyster shell and citrus. This was the most subtle yet seductive dry white of the tasting for me.

Gulfstream with Shawn Boeschen - Boeschen Vineyards (Gulstream, Newport Beach, CA): Odd nose that smelled like a hoppy IPA plus plenty of grass. Somewhat round and concentrated but very focused. This might need some time to unwind or is an example of the vintage.

Simple stuff, glycerin overrides the taste. Basic.

Crisp and refreshing. A bit of apple. Nice acid. Not quite as flavorful as I was expecting, but still decent.

Green grass, tart lemon, cut through with focused acid and some gravel. Decent QPR but not much above average.
