Decant for 2 hours; inky purple with medium legs. Herbal on the nose but mild; some grassy scents + some melon. Pretty neutral on the tongue: some strawberry, plum, and a bit of sage. Decent , but short finish

Tart cherry, cranberry, and red currant. Quite jammy which makes this more one-dimensional compared to previous vintages, almost like a Villages-level wine. But this does have some substantial tannins. Recommend serving at a slightly warmer temperature than other Gamay.

Cherry Jam, medium tannin and acid. Great with my cheese. But it’s rather one dimensional. Ok for back deck on a summer day
