Wow, a lot going on here! This envelopes the senses with layers of glazed kiwi, slightly underripe pear, juicy peach, lime zest, a little smoke, and a faint touch of whipped cream. The palate is pliant, concentrated, and complex, with a tug of phenolic bitterness extending the finish. This is shockingly approachable, with only medium acidity, and I question how long it will age. But right now it is captivating and utterly delicious.

Notes from day one Suprisingly soft with pleasant stonefruit of peach and yellow plum. Rich, but not dull, leaves some extract on the tounge. Happy that this was not hiding
Flattened out a bit on day two, and increasingly weird fruittones. Doesn’t have the nerve to it that I come to expect from Lauer, probably a sign of the vintage

Pale lemon Med+ intensity, lemon, pear, grape friuit, chamomile, honeysuckle, mineral, pastry, peach, honey, developing. Dry, high acidity, med alcohol, med+ intensity, lemon, grape fruit, white roses, mineral, pastry, med+ finish. Overall, this is a very good wine. The wine is refreshing and clean with balance acidity. 93 pts

Dry, severe and a bit austere. great acidity and minerality, with piercing grapefruit and floral notes. This shows promise but is in desperate need of cellar time to let it unwind.

This is singing now with a short decant. Citrus and stone fruit with lots of minerality. Long finish. Will be even better with age.
