  Plush, deep dark purple impenetrable almost to the edge, initally nose of pencil shavings, menthol, opening to kalamata olives, leather, sour black fruits with red fruits and powdery tannins on the palate. Aftrr a couple of hours in the decanter, on the palate a nicely balanced wine, medium bodied, red and black fruits, some red fruity sweetness, nice fine tannins well balanced acidity... finishing with deep spice flavours almost seemingly from a deep, beef driven dish... amazing QPR for $20AUD a few years back... pleasing to have a few more in the cellar... easily at least another 5 years.
