Been through 4 bottles of this over the past two years and there is certainly no decline. The first hour open, it was quite grippy and muted. Then it slowly unfurled overnight and by noon the next day it was singing. The bouquet is a majestic perfume of berries and spice. The palate is smooth but with excellent acidic firmness. Truly delicious, as Larner always is to me. With Larry Schaffer's signature approach, the result is this beautiful juice. This is the kind of wine that encourages an increase in the spend every year. It also makes me think, "Wow, that's good" after every sip. 5+12+17+9= 93
Opened this for a small Superbowl gathering but everyone ended up drinking other beverages so I drank the whole bottle by myself during the game. Such a shame...for them! This was drinking really well but I think this has years to go before reaching peak.

A more restrained Syrah than many.

Again, drinking very well (with air) and on the young side still. Recommend a long decant if opening soon.

Good everyday red Rhone. Good red fruit with good acidity.
