All the better for another year in bottle. Orange blossom, lemon, mint, peach and nectarine, and some lovely minerality. Exquisite on the palate with a solid seam of acidity and intense mouthfeel. Long and intense finish. Lovely.

Volcanic Wines of North London (Must & Lees): More classical (but less 'impressive') than the other Hatzidikis wine in this flight: sleek, lean and elegant, perhaps even sexy. Delightfully juicy, a note of icing sugar, gorgeous finish.

Solid assyrtiko but not exceptional. Would order in restaurant but not for my cellar. This producer does make very nice wines overall.

TWS North London; Volvanic Wines at Must & Lees (Must & Lees, N1): This felt a little restrained, as if it was holding something back. Again, the flight may not have flattered it. Short. Can assyrtiko go through a closed phase?

Volcanic Wines (Must and Lees, N1): Notes brief for some reason - slight spritz, lovely pithiness, very nice. A quality producer one feels.
