Color: Medium ruby. Nose: Only slightly fruity. A hint of cherries and someting chemical. I can't get my head around. Mouth: Not that expressive. Noticeable tannins but they go well with food. Medium to full bodied. A bit short. It is quite simple and rustic but drinkable. It is better after having breathing in the fridge for a day. Hence 3 more points. (before 80).

The imperfections of this example of this popular style (which I have no problem with if done well) are being plastered over by the very extraction levels which characterize it. I guess the producers hope for uncritical consumers who do not pay close attention after the initial impression. One can find way better specimen of this style at half the price produced further east and south under the aegis of Filippo Baccalaro.
Won't buy again.

Nice label design.
