Very dark gold, darker than 24k gold. Sweet apricots and mango’s and peaches on the nose. Deeply complex wine with a nuanced finish with second and third order effects - apricots, ripe peaches, and ripe stone fruit with a touch of mango. Marzipan hits at the late stages. Exquisite.

PNP tonite with my salad. Overtones of burnt orange peel, figs and dried apricots pervade this sweetie. I've had this wine before and it's showing much better on this occasion. Fairly full bodied, with plenty of honey and beeswax. Some might find it cloying as it might be slightly lacking in acidity. I like this wine tonite tho!

Deep, rich gold. Burnt orange peel and honey on the nose. Fantastic notes of dried apricots dominate with secondary notes of passion fruit, honey, and an excellent sweet minerality. Really good, especially the long dried fruit notes.

Drank last nite and I agree with other tasters. Dark gold color, nose of honeysuckle. Honey and melon on the palate, a bit too sweet and on the flabby side, and definitely a bit over the hill.

If you'd told me this was Madiera, I'd believed you. Old, hot and flabby, like Kathleen Turner.
