  Kicking off t Summer of 2023 w Helmuth Dönnhoff’s fine entry-level Weissburgunder 2020 - a new & pleasant acquaintance wrapped up in complete freshness & purity w hardly no added complexity, quite indispensable for Sun & Summer fun. Greenish-straw in the glass, somewhat cloudy. Nose brings smoke, pepper, just a bit of melon & sweet-touched peach, a slice of cooked lemon. Palate - round yet w fine acidic structure - shows even less fruit, while still being enjoyable, grippy minerality, closing dry, fresh & spicy.

  La robe de ce pinot blanc est d'un beau jaune claire avec des reflets pailles. Le nez est bien agréable avec des notes d'agrumes, de pêche, de pomme et de citron. La bouche est légèrement acidulée, c'est vif et frais. Très bon.
