Strong aroma, my wife could smell the open bottle across the room. Dark fruits, plum, cherry for the nose. A wonderful nose. The color was a deep red but not thick. translucent. The color was very close to stable from the interior to the rim. The taste was thinner but still there. Some cherry, a little grass, some dark fruits. All the flavor is in the nose. Supple tannins which probably won't improve any further.
This is a good wine that has been properly cellared and is peaked, it would be unfair to add a numerical rating at this point. It is still enjoyable, the tannins will hold it through a plate of spaghetti or similar. Drink this now.

there's also some cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot in this. fermentation and maceration in stainless steel, aged 6-8 months in 2nd/3rd-use french oak barrels. 13.%% alc. i liked this. soft tannins, medium acidity with some plummy, cherry notes.

Very thin taste, no nose to be found; became almost undrinkable after 24 hours. For $20, a very poor deal.

Tried it with a porterhouse steak, very good. Soft tanins, fruity, cherry flavors. Could drink alone also.
