Wow!!! This is so delicious!! And... It's about $40 CAD!!! (Or $27 USD)
If Chateau Lafleur ($1500/btl) is the foundation of this recipe, it's an absolute no brainer to buy a few bottles/cases. The red was without a doubt my best QPR in the past several years. So, bought a few of these and with these first sips, I'm off to buy more!
Alcohol -medium Acid - high Tannin - none Viscosity - medium fully balanced Balanced Finish - long 60s+ Decant - No
With sauteed ,ginger-lime-soya tuna steak. Quinoa.
Sauvignon Blanc Semillion 13.5% abv
There's no Napa Sauvignon Blanc I've experienced that compares in style and likely, longevity. After sipping this for a while, caught in thought about it's style( more upfront Sauvignon Blanc characters) but with a sense that it will cellar well ( Semillion). I sense a decade but, I'm not certain at this price point and this specific juice I could keep my hands off it for 10 years!
Solution... Ensure supply exceeds demand! 🤣
PS Drink The Rainbow!!

Truly outstanding for the price. Reiterating prior rating. Just be sure not serve too cold. Our bottle arrived too cold at a restaurant, and that hurt it. Give it 30 minutes and some warmth.

Quite rich and heady on the nose, but very well balanced on the palate. Surprised to see the high percentage of Sauvignon Blanc vs Semillon. Very well made and quite delicious. Drink or keep. 90-92

La Vie du Vin featuring Ch. Lafleur and Martine's Wines (Blackberry Farm, TN): Novel for me and the big surprise discovery from our Lafleur tasting. I LOVED this white, as did everyone else. Bright tropical fruit with a perfect balance of acid and soft mouthfeel. Harmonious. 75% Sauv Blanc / 25% Semillon. Bordeaux genetics. Seek this out. Massive overperformer for the price.

Extremely good surprise here !!!
Pungent nose of Sauvignon, with a creamy oak texture, but no vanilla nor overwhelming toasted aromas. This is so appealing !!!!
Palate is salivating and fresh, very long and pungent as well ! pH here is 3.0 ... boom
Great wine, and quite good value
