This is oddly enough a case of infanticide. Oddero is known for making quality wine, and this one is no exception. Personally I would've waited another 3-5yrs before opening, which I don't think I've ever said about barbera before.
Slightly reductive right out of the bottle. Aromas: dark berry, dark cherry, tar, spice and chocolate. Flavors: same as aromas. Medium+ acidity, medium/ slightly grippy tannins that haven't been fully resolved yet.
Solid wine, I would absolutely buy again

Disappointing - had this for 2 days and it comes across as too plummy, and out of balance. The acidity is too much here and makes finish a bit harsh
