Intense slate minerality and lime. Really lifted and fresh aromatics.
High acid with a savory/mineral finish.
An absolute banger of an intro bottling. I cannot think of another sub $30 bottle of wine with such intense minerality. Disappointed I waited this long to try Stein.

I love when a wine shows you something new. On this particular evening, this bottle of Riesling was hugely mineral and savory. The fruit was there in shades of grapefruit and bitter oranges, but what struck me most were the notes of that gave an incredible since of mineral depth- full of salinity, ash, and wet slate. I know this wine well and love it. But I can’t say I have had a bottle that quite this dominated by rock rather than fruit. A fascinating wine along this delicious journey of mine.

Brief note, as it was the fourth bottle of the night. Aromatically bright and fresh, and on the palate similar clear green apple with mouthwatering acids. Lacking a bit of concentration but great value dry Riesling

First bottle of seven and pretty happy. Slightly hazy straw color. Day 1: sharp acids, lemon zest. Love how it has blossomed on Day 2: kumquat, lime, white peach. Wonderful at cold temps.

Fresh white peaches, golden apples, pears, wet stone. Actually LESS acidity than I thought. Medium + body though. Bigger side of Mosel Riesling here.
