The wine was not faulty in any way, it just lacks taste and power. The nose is thin and the taste is nice, but far too weak at this price. Some berries and a bit of pencil in the taste. Missed some of the nice forest floor notes typical of a good PN.

Opened for about an hour. The nose was very purple fruited, some purple flowers, and also a lot of wet earth. The palate was pretty disappointing as the fruit was lifeless and short, and the acidity not nearly where it should be. The whole wine just did not have a very serious aurora about it. Much better oregon pinot at this price range.

Blinded on this and called Beaujolais Morgon 2020.
Purple flowers, potting soil, crunchy red fruits on the nose. Palate is all crunchy purple fruits but lacking acidity and tannins. Finish is a bit short but reflective of the palate.
I’ve had $20 Morgon that blows this out of the water. Sneak this into a Bojo tasting and confuse everyone. Not terroir driven or reflective of Willamette at all. Not worth the price IMO.
