  • The wine is clear and bright with a pale ruby colour.

    The nose is clean and developing, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of red fruit (red cherry, strawberry), pungent spices (black pepper), flowers (dry roses) and bottle ageing (tobacco, hints of cedar).

    The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. it has medium fine-grained tannins and a medium(+) alcohol. It has a medium body and medium(+) intensity flavours of red fruit (red cherry, strawberry), pungent spices (black pepper), flowers (dry roses) and bottle ageing (tobacco, hints of cedar). The finish is long.

    It is an outstanding quality wine. It has a lingering finish and concentrated flavours that balance the alcohol and the acidity. It also shows complexity provided by flora, spicy and bottle ageing notes.

    Can drink now, but it has enough acidic structure and fruit concentration to develop some more complex tertiary aromas over the next 3-5 years.

  • Understated, soft pinot noir. It is easy drinking, but simple and lacking depth. Not my personal style pinot, but I can see how some may enjoy it.

  • Translucent purplish color;
    Beetroot smell, pleasant and fresh on the nose;
    on palate a touch bitter and on the lean side. At the moment rather closed and not going through a very attractive stage.

  • Pnp'd. Red fruit, cherry, beets and wood spice on the nose. Strawberry, ripe cherry and dirt on the medium-bodied palate. Good acidity; noticeable tannins. Medium, funky finish. Improved immensely overnight. Needs a couple of years, but should improve.
