Mørke røde bær, urter, lakris. Saftig, god syre og kraft. Bedre enn jeg husker forrige og hadde godt av noen timer lufting. Disse kan godt ligge lenger.

Had with steak at Giannis in Wayzata MN, father's day dinner w dad and brother. Very nice wine list (for Minnesota) and I picked this over a long list of Napa cabs and a solid list of Brunellos (2016 Biondi Santi for $375, for example). My issue with the Cabs and Brunellos is that they are very pricey while at the same time are often just too young on the restaurant wine lists unless you go somewhere with a spectacular wine list and pay up. So for $100 got the 2018 Boscarelli Vino Nobile, its still a lot of money for this wine, but it is a solid Vino Nobile, and approachable and ready to drink. I am a fan of Vino Nobile for these exact reasons. It has the nice complexity of a good sangiovese, isn't a fruit bomb and due to winemaking and vintage is a very approachable wine. Plus, the word I got in Tuscany is this winery is good people. It was one that was recommended to me by locals in Montepulciano as one to visit. Calling it an 89 on a hard grading scale, and something to look for on restaurant wine lists.

Nice, fruity, cherries, soft overall, fine tannins on the backend. Easygoing but good food wine.

This is an amazingly elegant wine. Still young but drinking beautifully now.
