Light gold color with peach, golden apple, & melon scents. Apple pie, vanilla, lemon meringue, orange creamsicle all blend together for an amazing wine.

A beautiful burgundy style Chardonnay. Calebread knows how to let the grape shine through without adding all of the oak “butter” notes. A well balanced wine.

Straw/gold color all the way to the edge. Apple, custard, pear, peach, and hints of herbalness in the nose. Very fruit forward with golden apple & melon. Acidity is restrained in the finish.

This wine took its sweet time to come together in glass after a pop and pour. For the first hour, just a standard acceptable if uneventul chardonnay. The last 1/2 glass of the 2 glasses that I drank were borderline glorious, with a rich unctuous mouthfeel, golden fruit, sweet oak and balancing acid. This was the only bottle I purchased, but if you have one, maybe wait a year or two?
