  A little less intense than I remember from my previous tasting, but that may be because I sampled this bottle with filet mignon rather than with a lighter pork dish. Nevertheless, good stuff in good shape. A terrific buy from wtso.com.
  
  (6/26/2022) Deep crimson. An Oregon Pinot of power and depth more than subtlety. Worked perfectly with our Minnesota farmers market pork chops in a cream-mushroom-brandy sauce. I get the feeling that Wahle Vineyards has closed shop, like so many small family-owned wineries in Oregon, Washington and California lately. (I've run into at least a half-dozen.) A tragedy. Meanwhile, the corporate behemoths keep expanding, offering more uninteresting, sterilized, corporate behemoth plonk. Fortunately for me, this Pinot was a value from wtso.com.
