Hmmmm. Compared to my previous bottle on 4/29/23, this was closer to the day 2 experience than day 1. Simply not enough acid to make it particularly enjoyable. Either bottle variation or I totally misjudged it the first time around.

I wanted to purchase the Marcelo Pelleriti Malbec, but the wine shop was sold out. The owner suggested that I try their Cabernet Franc instead. The 2019 is a jammy fruit bomb. I would suggest this wine for beginners. Perhaps a pairing with a Crispy Creme donut would work. Is it worth $18 a bottle? No sir!

PnD. Let air for two hours.
Ripe with zip. Cherry strawberry and blueberry with a floral herbal note. Polished tannins. No harsh green angles. Lovely. Needs air can go 10 years.

6/25/2023 - hiker_guy Likes this wine:
Dark magenta in the glass
Nose of spicy raspberries, green peppers, some darker depth to be found.
Palate of dark raspberries, spice notes, strong tannins, long dry finish.
Paired nicely with a rack of pork ribs, slow cooked to perfection and seasoned with a mildly sweet and spicy sauce.
Would buy again.
