  Way too young, but starts to really show off after about 4 hours of air time. Nose a potent cocktail of deep red berries, cocoa powder, forest floor and minerals. Even before it opens, the mouthfeel and texture are pure Volnay 1er, airy and light but with great authority. Still tight on the long finish, it needs to do its obligatory 10 years of waiting before being ready. You can't get greedy with these '05's. Remember that patience is a virtue.
